WebClientPrint under ASP.NET Forms & Windows Authentication

Printing from ASP.NET to client printers by using our WebClientPrint for ASP.NET solution is really easy but if your website is configured to use ASP.NET Forms or Windows Authentication methods, then you must perform some steps to get it working. Barcode Professional products line for .NET Platforms Updated – Code 128 Auto encoding optimization, Micro QR Code bug fixed

A new maintenance release for most of our Barcode Professional products for .NET platforms are now available for downloading. The new builds contain the following updates:

  • Improved! Code 128 barcode Auto encoding optimized to get shorter symbols
  • Fixed! A bug found in the MicroQR Code’s Error Correction algorithm

You can download and update the products by using their download links which can be found in the license email or in the Download section of our website.
The “Assembly Version” of the dlls have not changed but the “File Version”. Here is the list of all new “File version” attributes depending on the Barcode Professional edition:

WebClientPrint 2.0 for ASP.NET Update

We’re glad to announce a new update to WebClientPrint 2.0 for ASP.NET. This new update includes:

[New!] Added config file setting “WcpAxdParentUrl” to specify an URL where the wcp.axd handler should be served from. Added to server-side Neodynamic.SDK.WebClientPrint.dll

[Fixed!] “Access Violation” error when an invalid URL is provided to get installed printers from the client. Fixed on WebClientPrint for Windows (wcpp.exe) utility

This update requires the installation of both the server and client software.

WebClientPrint 2.0 for Windows clients Update – Bug when using PrintFileGroup

We’re glad to announce a new update to WebClientPrint 2.0 for Windows clients (wcpp.exe). This new update includes:

  • Fixed! Bug when using PrintFileGroup class. A message stating that a printer name does not exist is fixed now.

This update requires the installation of the client software only.

WebClientPrint 2.0 for Windows clients Update – Default printer support and Gzip & Deflate compression

We’re excited to announce a new update to WebClientPrint 2.0 for Windows clients (wcpp.exe). This new update includes:

  • New! Default printer is now supported as a name for specifying it in the special file name formatting that allows you to print multiple files to different client printers
  • New! WebClientPrint for Windows now supports Gzip & Deflate compression methods
  • Fixed! “Access Violation” error when the URL specified for getting the CLientPrintJob is invalid.

This update requires the installation of the client software only.
