We also offer ThermalLabel Editor Add-on, a first-class barcode label designer component for .NET Windows desktop apps (WinForms & WPF) and a Web Editor based on HTML5/JS for ASP.NET which empowers your own apps by providing an end-user visual label editor!

What’s new in ThermalLabel SDK 9.0

  • New! Introducing support for EPSON ESC/POS compatible printers.
  • New! Full Color support for all items in any label. Color must be specified in hex notation like in HTML/CSS. Added the following new properties:
    • For TextItem: BackColorHex, ForeColorHex, BorderColorHex
    • For BarcodeItem: BackColorHex, ForeColorHex, BorderColorHex, BarColorHex, TextForeColorHex
    • For Shape Items: FillColorHex, StrokeColorHex
    • For ImageItem: ConvertToMonochrome (default is True for backward compatibility) – Set to False for printing color images.
  • New! Added support for Expressions (Operators, Variables/Constants and Functions) on Items through the brand new Expression property. Expressions allow you to reference the content of other items as well as data source fields in the same label too.
  • New! Added ExpressionBuilder class shipped with 100+ built-in well-known functions. It also allows setting and adding any Custom Expression Functions and Variables/Constants.
  • New! FonSizeScaling Sizing support for TextItem objects. Font size is automatically reset to render the text fitting the container width.
  • New! Printing labels in graphic mode to non-thermal printers.
  • New! ZPL Graphics compression to improve printing performance.
  • New! Export labels to PCX 1bpp image format.
  • New! Thumbnail label image generation. Added ThumbnailSize property to ImageSettings class.

JSPrintManager is a Javascript + Client App solution for Client-side Printing scenarios designed to be used in any Website developed on top of any Web Platform like ASP.NET, PHP, Django, Ruby On Rails (RoR), Express.js and more!
By writing pure Javascript code, JSPrintManager allows you to easily send raw data, text and native commands as well as known file formats (like PDF, TXT, DOC, XLS, JPG, PNG) to any printer installed or available at the client machine without showing or displaying any print dialog box!

WCPP 4.0 for Windows, Linux, Mac & RPi clients Update – New Custom Page Size for PDF

We’re glad to announce a new update to WebClientPrint Processor 4.0 for Windows, Linux, Mac & RPi clients. This new update includes:

  • New! Support for specifying custom page size through PaperName property of InstalledPrinter class when printing PDF files.

How to use the new feature
The custom page size must be specified in following format: PW=8.5-PH=11 where PW= refers to the Page Width and PH= refers to the Page Height in INCH unit. This parameters must be set to the PaperName property of InstalledPrinter class. The following snipped code set the paper size to Letter but specified in Inch unit:
