JSPrintManager is a Javascript + Client App solution for Client-side Printing scenarios designed to be used in any Website developed on top of any Web Platform like ASP.NET, PHP, Django, Ruby On Rails (RoR), Express.js and more!
By writing pure Javascript code, JSPrintManager allows you to easily send raw data, text and native commands as well as known file formats (like PDF, TXT, DOC, XLS, JPG, PNG) to any printer installed or available at the client machine without showing or displaying any print dialog box!

WCPP 4.0 for Windows clients Update – HTTP Status Code 2xx & Malformed JSON

We’re glad to announce a new update to WebClientPrint Processor 4.0 for Windows clients. This new update includes:

  • Improved! RS232 COM connection when port is busy
  • Fixed! Error dialog is displayed if HTTP Status Code returned by the server was different to 200 but in the range of 2xx which means Success like Code 204 (No Content)
  • Fixed! Getting printers info (jsWebClientPrint.getPrintersInfo) failed due to malformed JSON

ThermalLabel SDK fails to print in Remote Desktop scenarios

ThermalLabel SDK generates native printer commands (a.k.a. RAW printer commands) and it might not work in Remote Desktop scenarios because a limitation in the printing technology from MS (called Terminal Services Easy Print or TS Easy Print) shipped with Windows Vista or later versions. MS provides a fix to this issue in the article WritePrinter() with RAW data fails to print with TS Easy Print

Applying the fix stated in that MS article should allow you to get ThermalLabel SDK to successfully print in Remote Desktop sessions.
